KUALA LUMPUR: JACLYN Victor and Vince Chong have been household names since they won the inaugural seasons of reality talent shows Malaysian Idol and Akademi Fantasia, respectively.
The duo who have recorded You Are The Music In Me, from the Malaysian edition of Disney’s High School Musical a decade ago, and have also excelled in performing The Prayer, are going to team up once again for a duet in the closing ceremony of Sea Games 2017 tomorrow (Wednesday).
Jaclyn uploaded a photo of them singing at a sound check for the closing ceremony, which was snapped on Monday by Vince’s singer-actress sister Vanessa of The Amazing Race Asia fame.
In the photo, Jaclyn said: “It’s going to be real good, so don’t forget to tune in tomorrow! So proud to be Malaysian, yo!” and Vince added: “Thanks sis, so proud to be able to sing for Malaysia too!”
