After a brief discord on social media, it's 'kiss and make up' time between Hans Isaac and Zizan Razak

KUALA LUMPUR: Actor and producer Datuk Hans Isaac and comedian Zizan Razak have reconciled after a brief disagreement resulting from Zizan's emceeing the 29th Malaysian Film Festival (FFM 29) last Saturday.

Via an Instagram video, Hans, 46, said that while he criticised Zizan's “over-the-top” jokes while hosting the two-hour awards show at PWTC, Zizan had duly apologised for his antics after a brief discussion today.

"On my part, I apologise for sounding harsh in my criticism of him via Instagram. We've resolved the matter and have moved on," said Hans, who hoped that his and Zizan's fans would respect each other and not hurl verbal abuse in cyberspace.

Zizan was earlier rebuked by Hans for cracking a joke about how Hans had "obtained" his Datuk title. The comedian was also criticised by actor and producer Afdlin Shauki for wearing sunglasses on stage.

Zizan responded to criticism from Hans and Afdlin by welcoming their feedback, and describing it as constructive.

He said that the FFM29 production team did not rebuke him for his jokes, and thus felt that the audience was "okay" with them.
