K-Pop group iKON's 'Return' dominates iTunes charts worldwide

KUALA LUMPUR: South Korean male group iKON has successfully made a comeback with its latest album, aptly named “Return”.

Since its release earlier today, the sophomore studio album had already peaked at the top spot on the iTunes album chart in Malaysia, as well as in 16 other countries and cities: Armenia, Brunei, Cambodia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Estonia, Greece, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, the Philippines, Romania, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Turkey.

According to Soompi, the award-winning group, known for the hit singles My Type, Apology and Dumb & Dumber, also released its latest single, Love Scenario, which topped several major South Korean realtime charts.

The seven-member band’s other b-side tracks, such as Long Time No See, Beautiful and Jerk have been placed high as well.

The physical album of the YG Entertainment boy group is expected to consists of two different versions, one Red and another Black, with a 120-page photobook, eight postcards, photo cards, selfie cards and photo films.

“Return” contains eight songs and four special bonus tracks, produced by iKon leader B.I and YG music personnel.

Made up of Jinhwan, Yunhyeong, Bobby, Donghyuk, Ju-ne and Chanwoo, iKON’s debut studio album, “Welcome Back”, was released in 2015.
