IT all began with him making short, funny videos starring himself, his wife and his friends.
He first shared them on the Vine app, before moving on to Instagram and Facebook.
And it didn’t take long for Syed Fernarsh Syed Badlishah or Chazynash, as he is more popularly known on social media, to become well-known.
Three years on, the graphic and multimedia design graduate, who shared some 250 videos on social media, will soon star in a television sitcom.
“I never expected to come this far. Sharing funny videos was just something I did for fun,” said the 29-year-old Instafamous.
He will play the leading role in a 13-episode series called S.O.S!.
“My wife (Noor Juriah Morat) gets a part on the show, too,” said Syed Fernarsh, who has 603,000 followers on Instagram.
Directed by Azahari Ali, S.O.S! is about a newlywed couple who discover the adventures of married life.
Filming will begin in March, and the show is set to be aired on ntv7 before the third quarter of the year.
