KUALA LUMPUR: Singapore-born hunky actor Datuk Aaron Aziz is excited that his acting debut in Kollywood movie Tik Tik Tik has been well received.
The 42-year-old artiste said that it felt like he “had won the election”.
“I received many messages from Kollywood fans who have watched the movie and praised my acting in it,” he said in a recent news report.
Aaron who plays a supporting role in Tik Tik Tik said that this was the first time he had received an encouraging response from non-Malay audience in the two decades he had been in the entertainment industry.
In the sci-fi movie, he plays the antagonist role Captain Lee V, alongside Indian actor Jayam Ravi who is the lead actor.
Aaron’s dialogue is in English.
Directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan, Tik Tik Tik opened in cinemas worldwide on June 22.
