KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Lana Nodin may be living in Los Angeles, the United States with her husband and daughter now, but she is determined to deliver her second in her homeland.
Back in town for the last four days, the 38-year-old artiste said she “took the risk” of flying home despite being heavily pregnant.
“Thank God everything went well on the flight home from LA. I want my baby to be born in Malaysia, in the presence of my loved ones, and furthermore I want to ‘berpantang’ (undergo confinement) here, too,” she said in a news report yesterday.
“It’s a lot easier to ‘berpantang’ here. I have my family member who would readily lend a helping hand, and furthermore I always believe in traditional treatment methods.”
Lana and her husband Mohd Daud (David) McKienzie thanked Rampai Puteri Medical Centre for sponsoring the birth of her coming baby who is due next month.
Lana and Mohd Daud, 39, tied the knot on May 15, 2015. They have a daughter, Gia Quinn McKienzie, 2.
