KUALA LUMPUR: Actor Sharnaaz Ahmad is not ready to make any comments about his marriage publicly just yet as he does not want to make any assumption which will only worsen the situation.
“I know I may be vocal sometimes, but as this is a family matter, I don’t want to share anything with the public before a resolution is made,” he told the Press when met at the premiere screening of the film Wangi at MM Cineplex, eCurve in Petaling Jaya yesterday.
The 33-year-old artiste was responding to a question from the media about a photo of what looked like the Federal Territories Syariah Court building, which was uploaded by his wife entrepreneur Noor Nabila Mohd Noor, 34, on her InstaStory yesterday.
Her post further fuel the rumour of a marital problem.
Sharnaaz admitted that he had been receiving many telephone calls yesterday asking him similar question, but remained tight-lipped about the issue, only saying that whatever may happen to his marriage, his priority would always be his son Jebat Jayden Ahmad who turns a year old today.
Speculations about their marriage being on the rocks arose earlier this year, but they seemed to have settled their problem in February. The couple tied the knot on March 31, 2017.
Meanwhile, Nabila’s sister, popular TV host and actress Noor Neelofa, 30, said in a news report yesterday that as her sister had gone through various tests in her life, all she and family could do was to support whatever decision her sibling would make regarding her future.
