KUALA LUMPUR: After 13 years, Golden Screen Cinema (GSC) has decided to close its cinema halls at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
The cinema operator made this announcement on its Twitter account yesterday.
The notice read: “Please be informed that GSC Pavilion KL will cease operations on 17 February 2020 (Monday). Our cinema will remain fully operational until our last day of business, which will be on 16 February 2020 (Sunday).”
“We would like to take this opportunity to convey our sincerest thanks and gratitude to all our movie-goers who have supported our GSC Pavilion KL since its opening.”
The cinema located at the shopping mall in the heart of the city’s golden triangle opened its doors on Nov 29, 2007.
