#Showbiz: Elfira Loy, Buttonscarves doing their bit for those affected by Covid-19

KUALA LUMPUR: When Indonesian scarf producer Buttonscarves approached actress and TV host Elfira Loy for a collaboration, it was the company's proposal to channel some of its profits to those impacted by Covid-19 pandemic that sealed the deal.

"That's a good initiative, seeing that the world is going through difficult times, having to battle this deadly virus and its consequences which many of us are facing right now," said the 26-year-old celebrity in a statement today.

She believed that everyone has a role to play and opportunity to work together in the fight against the virus which had taken so many lives since the end of last year.

"In fact, Buttonscarves had already done its part by donating facial masks and other necessities back in their home country," she added.

Elfira added that now Malaysians too could join Buttonscarves in doing their bit to raise funds to be donated to those affected in both Malaysia and Indonesia, when they buy the brand's latest collection The Maharani Series, which she is collaborating together with Buttonscarves.

The collection will be made available from tomorrow onwards for both Malaysia and Indonesia markets via www.buttonscarves.com or Buttonscarves' mobile phone application.
