KUALA LUMPUR: Barbadian singer Robyn Rihanna Fenty a.k.a. Rihanna has been named by Forbes as the richest female musician in the world.
In a recent news report on Yahoo! News, the 32-year-old came out tops in this year's Forbes Richest Self-Made Women Under 40 list, with her net worth estimated at US600 million (RM2.4 billion).
It was reported that most of her wealth had been accumulated from her cosmetic brand, Fenty Beauty, which she co-owns together with the international luxury group LVMH.
Besides that, she also has other businesses including Savage X Fenty, a lingerie line which she collaborates with TechStyle Fashion Group.
Rihanna is also making a huge difference with her charitable organisation, Clara Lionel Foundation, which has donated US22.5 million (RM93.3 million) this year just for coronavirus relief.
Others in the list include Madonna, Beyonce, Celine Dion and Lady Gaga.
