SEOUL: K-Pop quartet BlackPink's eldest member Jisoo is an ideal beauty in the eyes of South Korean plastic surgeon Dr Min Hee Joon.
Entertainment portal Allkpop reported today that Dr Min recently made a video analysing his country's best looking female singers, and they included members of popular girl groups as BlackPink, Red Velvet and April.
Dr Min eventually picked Jisoo as his most beautiful artiste, describing her face as one with "perfect harmony" between Eastern and Western standards of beauty.
"BlackPink's Jisoo has deep set eyes and beautiful double eyelids. She also has a perfectly dimensional face and a distinctive philtrum excellent for physiognomy," said Dr Min.
He also said that Jisoo's face was an ideal reference for people who chose to have plastic surgery.
Besides Jisoo, singer Tzuyu (Chou Tzu-Yu) of the group Twice has been praised by Japanese women as an ideal beauty.
She and Jisoo have been widely praised in South Korea for their natural beauty.
Jisoo, 26, whose real name is Kim Ji-Soo, formed BlackPink together with Jennie Kim, Rose Park and Lisa Manoban in August 2016.
Jisoo became South Korea's ambassador for cosmetics brand Dior Beauty in 2019.
