KUALA LUMPUR: Cinemagoers in Malaysia are now able to have a different film experience with Dadi Cinema which has branches in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and Da Men USJ in Subang Jaya, Selangor.
The second largest cinema chain in China began its operations here on Nov 1 and offers a unique ambience accompanied by various facilities for film fans of all ages.
Its Pavilion Kuala Lumpur outlet features the first cinema hall in Malaysia to introduce the concept of watching movies under the stars.
Named Star-Max Hall, the galaxy-themed venue is equipped with advanced laser projectors that illuminate the walls with breath-taking constellations.
The hall can accommodate about 260 cinemagoers and also features a Dolby Atmos sound system for an amazing audio experience.
Meanwhile, the Da Men USJ outlet presents a "Street Scheme" open concept that mirrors a busy avenue complete with traffic lights and signage to provide excitement to cinemagoers before they catch their movies.
The cinemas also provide a VIP experience via its premium Star+ Hall which offers recliner seats, wireless charging pads, call buttons for services and access to a lounge area complete with a free-flow of selected food and beverages to pamper patrons before a screening.
Special cinema halls for families called Lil Star Hall provide a safe and fun space for children.
These halls feature cute seats specially crafted for children and include a Lil Star Playland play are for them to have fun before the movie begins.
The cinema outlets also feature a Dadi Cinema souvenir store for cinemagoers to purchase merchandise.
Senior marketing manager of Dadi Cinema Jessica Chong said that Malaysians would be in for a treat with the new cinema chain.
"Malaysians love to frequent cinemas, so we aspire to add more value and satisfaction to their passion by providing memorable experiences at Dadi Cinema.
"At Dadi Cinema, cinemagoers will not only sit and watch the screen while eating popcorn but also have a special all-encompassing experience right from the moment they purchase a ticket all the way to the end of the screening," she said in a Harian Metro report today.
Chong added: "Each moment at Dadi Cinema will be meaningful to anyone regardless of their age and we are very excited to welcome everyone to our new establishment."
