#Showbiz: Rosyam thrilled to welcome his first grandson

KUALA LUMPUR: Popular actor Datuk Rosyam Nor, 54, has become a grandfather for the fourth time.

But best of all, he has just welcomed his first grandson.

The delighted star of KL Gangster, Kala Malam Bulan Mengambang, Castillo and Bilut announced on Instagram today that his second of five daughters, Nur Anis, had just given birth to a baby boy at Andorra Hospital in Seri Kembangan, Selangor.

He said: "Alhamdullilah! It has been a long, 32-year wait but the day has finally come.

"Thank God, I have just welcomed my first grandson to the world.

"My second of five daughters, Anis, gave birth to a healthy baby boy yesterday.

"I want to thank all the doctors and staff of Andorra Hospital for helping to make it happen.

"Next, what shall we call our new baby?'"

Netizens, including artistes, congratulated Rosyam and Anis.

Actress Datin Seri Nina Juren Haniff said: "Tahniah Anis, Datuk Rosyam and family. Welcome baby boy!"

Ayu said: "Tahniah Datuk and family. I would suggest you name him Remy after your character in Gila-Gila Remaja, your first ever movie."

Rashidah said: "Perhaps Mohamad Nor would be great! Grandfather and grandson sharing the same name."

Anis, 28, tied the knot with Hariz Zainal in 2019. Her elder sister Azureen, who married Hafiz Mohd Said in 2013 has three daughters.
