KUALA LUMPUR: International K-Pop sensation BTS and popular British rock band Coldplay are set to share the same stage for a performance of My Universe at the 2021 American Music Awards on Sunday (Nov 21).
According to Soompi, the two music acts had officially confirmed their performance of their collaborative hit song at the event that would take place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, USA.
This will mark the first time that the two iconic music groups would be performing together on stage.
Previously, BTS had also announced that it would be performing the group's big hit Butter with hot female rapper Megan Thee Stallion at the awards ceremony.
The award-winning US artiste had been featured on a special remix of Butter which was released in August.
Other performers during the 2021 American Music Awards which will be hosted by rapper Cardi B include Bad Bunny, Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, New Edition, New Kids On The Block, Jennifer Lopez and Olivia Rodrigo.
BTS has been nominated for three awards at the event this year, namely Artiste of the Year, Favourite Pop Duo or Group and Favourite Pop Song for Butter.
