#Showbiz: 'Cinta', AJL36 have raised the bar for Marsha

KUALA LUMPUR: After her win at the Anugerah Juara Lagu 36 (AJL36) last March, singer Marsha Milan Londoh is feeling the pressure in choosing her next single.

The 36-year-old artiste whose song Cinta emerged as the first runner-up at the annual song competition, said that it had become a task to look for a great song to match the winning song, composed and written by singers Akim and Stacy.

"Now that I have my own music direction, I hope my future songs will also have similar vibes like Cinta.

"I have set certain standards for myself, and I'm also worried about fans' expectation for my new songs now," she said.

As a result Marsha said she now had to carefully go through each song to find one which would best suit her chosen music direction.

"I'm in the midst of gathering a few materials from several composers now before finally deciding on the 'right one' to record."
