KUALA LUMPUR: About 2,000 individuals will be able to watch Mat Kilau: Kebangkitan Pahlawan for free tomorrow when the epic movie is screened at the Jelajah Aspirasi Keluarga Malaysia (AKM) event in Kelantan.
In a news report yesterday, the screening will be held at 8pm at Kompleks Yayasan Kemiskinan Kelantan (YKK) in Melor, Kota Bharu.
Its programme co-ordinator Ahmad Termizi Musa said that the free tickets would be distributed by appointed representatives in all the districts in the state.
He also said that since the state remained as the only state in the East Coast without a cinema hall, he hoped that the special screening would create a special moment for the audience.
"This screening is also a part of our promotional strategy for the upcoming National Day celebration with the theme Keluarga Malaysia Teguh Bersama," he added.
The movie directed by Syamsul Yusof has collected more than RM80 million at the box office since its premiere last month.
