#SHOWBIZ: Rossa documentary film to begin screening tomorrow

KUALA LUMPUR: Indonesian singer Datuk Seri Rossa Roslaina Handiyani has been chosen as the first celebrity to be featured on Usanita Entertainment's digital talk show.

In a news report today, the 46-year-old artiste was the first guest of the show's episode, 'Usanita: Unwrapped Kisah Di Sebalik Spotlight Special Edition With Dato' Sri Rossa', which was recorded here yesterday.

It was co-hosted by Awal Ashaari and Usanita's CEO Datuk Adzliana Hasan.

The debut and special episode was aimed at providing a deeper perspective on Rossa's inspiring artistic journey.

Apart from the programme's recording, the event also saw both Rossa and Adzliana inking a plaque to symbolise Usanita's new venture in exploring the artistic and creative field.

"We're proud to take this first step by collaborating with Rossa, who is an experienced and influential artiste in this region.

"We hope that this will lead us to bigger and more exciting opportunities in future," said Adzliana.

Usanita is also the sponsor for the premier gala night for the 'All Access To Rossa: 25 Shining Years' documentary film which took place at the same venue last night.

As the title suggests, the documentary celebrates Rossa's 25 years of experience in the industry.

The film, which premiered in Jakarta in August, will be screened for the public starting tomorrow.

"I'm happy to see my close industry friends from Malaysia such as Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza, Nabila Razali, Fattah Amin, Hael Husaini, and Aisha Retno who're here to show their support.

"I'm very happy and honoured, and hope that everyone will be inspired and entertained after watching this documentary," she said.
