KUALA LUMPUR: Popular TV3 entertainment talk show Melodi has two brand new hosts, popular actress and television personality Ain Edruce and radio announcer and television personality Haziq Hussni.
The duo took over as the co-hosts of Melodi yesterday at TV3's Studio 3 in Glenmarie, Shah Alam. The hour-long Melodi, which turns 34 this year, is screened at 12.30pm every Sunday on TV3.
Haziq, 31, from Kuala Lumpur is best known as a radio announcer for Hot FM, where he served from 2014 until this year. He has also hosted television programmes as Hot TV (2014 to 2022), Kaki Bola (2015), Nasi Lemak Kopi O (2016 to 2018), Mentor Otai (2018), Muzik Muzik (2018 to 2021) and Malaysia Hari Ini.
Ain, 31, from Sarawak is best known for hosting TV3's entertainment programmes MBuzz and I Can See Your Voice Malaysia and starring in drama series as Kekasih Paksa Rela, Jenaka Kampung Kalut and Kenyalang I'm In Love.
Ain was previously a guest host of Melodi, and joined Izzue Islam Mazlan, Shalma Ainaa and Sharnaaz Ahmad as guest hosts last July.
Previous hosts of the long-running entertainment talk show have included the late Datuk Mahadzir Lokman, Fauziah Ahmad Daud, Saiful Apek, Raja Azura, Datuk Aznil Nawawi, Fara Fauzana, Wahid Mohamad, Zizan Razak, Zulin Aziz, Sherry Alhadad, Elly Mazlein, Janna Nick, Ajak Shiro, Awal Ashaari and Nabila Huda Suhaimi.
Melodi is screened live on TV3 on Sundays and is live-streamed via HD on www.tonton.com.my.
