#Showbiz: Michael Learns To Rock Malaysian concert on Oct 22

KUALA LUMPUR: Danish pop rock band Michael Learns To Rock (MLTR) whose songs were a staple on airwaves in the 1990s will be performing for Malaysian fans at the Arena of Stars in Resorts World Genting, Pahang on Oct 22.

The band's return to Malaysia for a one-night live concert is part of its MLTR Back On The Road live tour.   

Concertgoers can look forward to singing along to a string of classic hits by one of the longest running bands in the world, such as Take Me To Your Heart, 25 Minutes, That's Why You Go Away and Paint My Love among many others.

In its current form, MLTR is made up of Jascha Richter, Mikkel Lentz and Kåre Wanscher.

The band made its debut in 1988 in Aarhus, Denmark and has since released nine studio albums and 19 compilation albums which spawned a number of gold, platinum, and multi-platinum hit singles.

With global record sales of over 11 million physical albums and more than 6 million paid downloads, MLTR's music has stood the test of time.

The group's material continues to be streamed and viewed on major digital platforms, resonating with generations of people all around the world.

MLTR, which has won numerous awards in many countries over the years, is showing no signs of slowing down despite having played over 600 concerts worldwide as they continue to go on tour and put up a great show for fans in different parts of the globe.

Tickets to the MLTR Back On The Road Tour Live in Malaysia 2022 concert, organised by MIC Entertainment Group, are priced at RM638 (VIP), RM588 (PS1), RM388 (PS2), RM 238 (PS3) and RM158 (PS4), which are subject to RM4 processing fee.
