KUALA LUMPUR: Singer Zamani Ibrahim has finally been discharged after three days of having gone through a procedure to treat scoliosis.
"Praise be to God, Zamani is going home this afternoon. Both he and I would like to express our gratitude to the doctors, the operation team and the hospital staff for all their hard work and concerns over our well-being for the past few days," wrote Nur Juliana Abdul Rani, 39, in the caption to a video posting she shared on Instagram yesterday.
Zamani's wife added: "We also would like to thank Datuk Aznil Nawawi and fans who had raised some funds in order to help us with the medical bills."
In the video, the 51-year-old singer is seen walking with an upright posture, which was a vast improvement compared to his pre-surgery condition.
Earlier this week, the singer went through a seven-hour procedure.
Juliana added that doctors had advised her husband to rest between three and four months before he starts to work again.
