KUALA LUMPUR: Fans of popular Japanese animation soundtracks will get to experience the music live in the upcoming Encounter: Anime, Echoes from the ACG World concert at the Petaling Jaya Performing Arts Centre (PJPAC) on Jan 7 and 8.
The music show which will mark the AOrchestra's debut concert featuring 100 musicians, 10 soloists and three conductors, will bring the audience on an aural journey across vast fictional realities.
With a repertoire comprising soundtracks from a dozen popular anime works such as Genshin Impact, Demon Slayer and Violet Evergarden, the orchestra will entertain listeners with 20 songs during the 135-minute concert with no intermission.
To add to the festive cheer and atmosphere, audience members are encouraged to engage in cosplay and attend the event dressed as their favourite manga, anime or video game characters.
Tickets to the concert on Jan 7 (7pm) and Jan 8 (4pm) at the Stage 1 Theatre of PJPAC in 1 Utama, Petaling Jaya are priced at RM65, RM85 and RM105.
