KUALA LUMPUR: Veteran Hong Kong martial arts star Norman Tsui Siu Keung died of cancer in Beijing on Sept 1.
He was 73.
AsiaOne reported that the death of Tsui, best known for the Asia Television drama series Reincarnated, was announced by Hong Kong Film Workers Association spokesman and veteran actor Tin Kai Man recently.
"Norman's sudden death has shocked and saddened fans and colleagues. He will be missed," said Tin.
More shocking news soon followed, as the late actor's wife died of a heart attack while managing his funeral.
Little is known about her except that she was a dancer 30 years younger than him.
She was Tsui's third wife and they have two children.
Tin said: "After Norman passed away, his wife took charge of the funeral arrangements.
"And while handling the funeral, she too passed away of a heart attack.
"Eventually their daughter took charge of the funeral the arrangements."
Tsui gained immense fame in the 1970s and 1980s, and besides Reincarnated, he also starred in the martial arts drama series The Sword Of The Third Young Master.
Later in life he played the villain Chiu Mo Kei in Stephen Chow's 1992 martial arts comedy King Of Beggars.
Thrice married, Tsui also had a relationship with actress Shirley Yim, and they had two children together.
