KUALA LUMPUR: Children will have another safe space to have fun and enjoy themselves with TGV Cinemas new kids' themed cinema.
The premiere local cinema chain announced yesterday that the partnership with Mattel Continental Asia would be called TGV Junior powered by Hot Wheels.
This first-of-its-kind partnership in Malaysia for both Mattel and TGV Cinemas aims to bring an all-in-one experience for modern day families.
It is the only place where families can enjoy all of Mattel's iconic brands such as Barbie, Hot Wheels, Thomas & Friends, Mega Bloks and many more all under one roof.
The TGV Junior powered by Hot Wheels hall combines movies and play for the ultimate viewing experience, where families are welcomed to enjoy 30 minutes access to the City of Play prior to movie screenings.
Here is where the little ones can enjoy various fun activities specially curated for the children, including a super-sized Hot Wheels Track Builder Challenge, Mega Bloks giant board, a life-size UNO Flip Board, an awesome Barbie Corner and so much more.
The City of Play connects directly to the dedicated kids' cinema hall specially fitted with child seats, a Barbie and Thomas & Friends camping zone, as well as an in-cinema slide for optimum fun and enjoyment catered for both young and old.
This experience allows the parents to sit back, relax and enjoy the show while the children play freely.
The Hall and Play Zone will also be available for public sessions as well as private events, such as birthday parties in the future to celebrate special milestones.
"At TGV, we are about helping families create joyful memories together.
"We are delighted to be partnering with a global leader like Mattel to bring this unique experience to Malaysia.
"It is yet another example of how TGV continues to innovate and improve to excite movie-goers," said TGV Cinemas Sdn Bhd CEO Tan Lay Han.
"We're happy to collaborate with TGV cinemas on the new themed concept as it provides kids with a unique space to play, explore, and be creative.
"We are continuously looking for new ways to empower the next generation to explore the wonder of childhood and this partnership gives kids the best of play and cinematic experience," said Mattel South Asia general manager Murat Ariksoy.
Just in time for the year-end School Holidays, parents can now bring their children to enjoy family blockbuster movies, such as the Mechamato Movie, Puss In Boots: The Last Wish and Lyle Lyle Crocodile.
The TGV Junior powered by Hot Wheels hall is available exclusively at TGV 1Utama in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
