KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's homegrown K-Pop quartet Dolla proved to be as entertaining as their South Korean counterparts in their maiden international pop festival, the Seen Festival today.
Dolla comprising Wan Sabrina Wan Rusli (Sabronzo), Tabitha Lam (Tabby), Angel Chai and Syasya Shahrizal had fans in the packed Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil here cheering and dancing to their music when they took to the stage in a 20-minute segment during the two-hour concert.
Dressed in stylish outfits, Sabronzo, Syasya, Tabby and Angel belted out their popular hits, such as Impikan, BAD and Dolla Make You Wanna, allowing the 5,000-strong fans to sing along to the choruses throughout their segment.
Dolla was the only Malaysian act at the festival which began at 6pm. The other acts were NCT Dream, WayV, Kard and Alice, all from South Korea.
The event was organised by CM Live and marked the first time a major K-Pop festival was held at the arena.
"We are so honoured to be here tonight. It's great to share the stage with some of Korea's most talented and amazing groups," said the group's lead singer Sabronzo.
"This will always be a night for us to remember, as we have finally seen our dream of singing with world-class Korean artistes come true," said Tabby.
Dolla, Alice, Kard, WayV and NCT Dream performed on a T-shaped central stage in the midst of the arena, allowing audiences to have a 360-degree view of their performances.
