KUALA LUMPUR: Remp-It actor Farid Kamil has withdrawn his earlier statement alleging that there was a third party out to wreck his 11-year marriage to Imaginur actress Diana Danielle.
In an Instagram Story post yesterday, Farid, 42, said that he was "taking back" his earlier allegation and apologised to everyone, especially Diana's family.
He also apologised to Diana's mother Norsiah Ramli for alleging that Diana "kicked her out" of their house in 2019.
"In the blessed month of Ramadan, I take back my earlier statement about a third party in my marriage. I convey my sincere apologies to everyone, especially the family of my wife Diana Danielle.
"I also apologise to my mother-in-law Norsiah Ramli for my statement yesterday alleging that she was kicked out of our house by her daughter in 2019," said Farid.
Yesterday Farid alleged that Diana evicted Norsiah from their house four years ago but both of them subsequently reconciled.
On March 28, Farid alleged that there was a third party involved in their marriage and this individual caused Diana to file for divorce early last month.
