KUALA LUMPUR: The marital crisis between celebrity couple Farid Kamil and Diana Danielle took another turn as Diana denied her husband's claim that they were still in contact.
In an Instagram Story posted yesterday, Diana said that she no longer wished to live together with Farid, asserting that their separation is underway and urged him to respect her decision.
"We didn't talk on the phone yesterday. I already gave him notice via WhatsApp to move out as soon as possible as we're entering the divorce process," she shared.
The actress added: "I won't allow things that haven't happened to be presented as if they did. Please respect my stance."
Farid, however, had told media outlets that he and Diana were still in contact and described their situation as a minor disagreement.
On Monday, Diana took to Instagram and made the surprising announcement of her intention to file for divorce a second time.
It was reported that Farid was filming on set when Diana's announcement went public.
On March 10 last year, she filed for separation, citing irreconcilable differences and ongoing conflict as reasons for their incompatibility.
The two eventually divorced via Google Meet on Aug 10 but reconciled a month later.
Married on Nov 3, 2012, Farid and Diana have two children, Muhammad, 11, and Nur Aurora, 9.
