KUALA LUMPUR: American singer-songwriter Lauv's tour in Malaysia slated for September has been cancelled.
The concert's organiser Live Nation said in a statement issued to ticket-holders yesterday that Lauv's The Between Albums Tour had been cancelled due to "unforeseen circumstances".
"Refunds will be issued to all ticket-holders at their point of purchase. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience the cancellation may have caused and appreciate your understanding," the statement said.
Live Nation added that the refund would be issued to all ticket holders via its ticketing partner GoLive Asia soon.
Lauv was supposed to perform at the Plenary Hall, KL Convention Centre at 8.30pm on Sept 6 and 7.
Even though the organiser did not publish an official statement of the cancellation, it made an announcement on its official website.
Many fans expressed their frustration over the cancellation on Live Nation's Instagram account and wanted to know the reasons for it.
