KUALA LUMPUR: Pop queen Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza will not be adding extra days or selling extra tickets for her next major concert in March.
Siti, 45, said in an interview with Harian Metro Online yesterday that her March 9 concert, Konsert Sebuah Epitome Saya Siti Nurhaliza in the Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil would remain a "one-day event."
"Sincere apologies to all my fans, we will not be able to increase the number of tickets nor can we extend the concert for another day. Having March 10 as the extra day is not possible as it is the start of Ramadan, while March 8 is when our full rehearsal is held," said Siti.
Siti however promised fans that her next concert after the one in Axiata Arena would be for two days.
"If fans cannot catch me on March 9, they can still come for the next concert which will be a two-day special."
Siti revealed that Indonesian crooner Judika would be her guest artiste in the March 9 concert, and proceeds from the concert would be channeled to her foundation Yayasan Nurjiwa to help the suffering Palestinians.
On Dec 21 last year, Siti announced that tickets for the concert had been sold out within two hours.
