KUALA LUMPUR: The organiser of Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza's June 29 concert in Singapore has made it a two-day event.
SAH Entertainment announced yesterday that Konsert Fenomena Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza Live In Singapore would be held at the same venue, The Star Theatre on June 28.
The company's chief executive officer Sufie Rashid said they decided to extend the concert since tickets for June 29 had been sold out in less than two hours late last month.
"Extending the concert for another day will enable more of Siti's Singaporean fans to attend," said Akademi Fantasia 2015 winner Sufie in a statement yesterday.
"All of us in SAH Entertainment would like to thank Siti and her team for allowing us to organise this two-night event which promises to be her biggest concert in Singapore to date."
Sufie also said that SAH Entertainment had allowed ticket holders who purchased tickets for June 29 to change their dates to June 28.
Last December, tickets for Siti's March 9 concert Konsert Sebuah Epitome Saya Siti Nurhaliza were also sold out in two hours.
The concert will be held at Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil.
