KUALA LUMPUR: Jimin of K-pop titan BTS will be returning with his sophomore solo album, titled MUSE, on July 19.
The popular 28-year-old idol's label Big Hit Music recently confirmed the date of the new release which is a follow-up to his successful debut studio album, FACE, in 2023.
An official statement from the agency released on Weverse read: "We are excited to share details about the release of BTS member Jimin's second solo album, MUSE.
"Following his first solo album, FACE, where he sought to explore his true identity, MUSE documents his journey in search of the source of his inspiration.
"Showcasing Jimin's expanded musical spectrum, MUSE includes seven tracks, including the fan song Closer Than This, released in December 2023.
"We ask for your continued love and support for Jimin's second solo album, MUSE," said Big Hit Music.
Jimin's previous album FACE, which contained five songs, shifted over a million copies upon its release day.
Its single, Like Crazy, also took the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.
