KUALA LUMPUR: BlackPink's Lisa is set to captivate fans with her debut solo album, Alter Ego, scheduled for release on Feb 28, 2025.
Fans can expect Alter Ego to be available in seven versions: a jewel case, vinyl, and five photobook editions, catering to collectors and casual listeners alike.
The album, launched under her label LLOUD in collaboration with RCA Records, marks a significant milestone as the first full-length solo album by a BlackPink member.
Known for her dynamic artistry, the 27-year-old K-pop idol has previously teased fans with three singles in 2024: "Rockstar," "New Woman" featuring Rosalia, and "Moonlit Floor."
These tracks have achieved notable success, with "Rockstar" climbing to No.70 on Billboard's Hot 100 and topping the Global Excl. US chart.
The album's announcement trailer unveils Lisa in five sci-fi-inspired settings, including an edgy warp tunnel and a lush mystical glade, symbolising different facets of her identity.
A prominent five-pointed star emblem hints at the album's conceptual depth.
Adding to her list of achievements, the Thai artiste, whose real name is Lalisa Manobal, will make her acting debut in HBO's The White Lotus Season 3, set in Thailand, where she will play Mook, a hotel manager.
Fans can also catch her performing as a solo act at Coachella in April 2025, further solidifying her as a global icon.
