KUALA LUMPUR: Fans of short films can check out a series of works by Malaysians at the BMW Shorties: Pulse event at RexKL, here tomorrow (Sept 7).
The showcase kicks off celebrations for the BMW Shorties short film competition's 2024 run with screenings of a curated list of past BMW Shorties Grand Prize winners.
A celebration of 18 Years of the BMW Shorties, the event will also feature a stirring line-up of music performances by SXPH and Passenger Seat.
The first session, running from 3.30pm to 4.30pm, will screen PACE by Ekin Kee Charles, Colourless by Ananth Subramaniam, 32°C Fall In Love by Tan Seng Kiat, and Guang by Quek Shio Chuan.
The second session of the screening will run from 5pm to 6pm, and will feature Hawa by Tan Ce Ding, Never Was The Shade by Lim Kean Han, FASA by Syahmi Norsan, and All Who Leave Go There by Ikram Haizammuri.
Exclusive custom door gifts will be given to the first 100 attendees who pre-register for the BMW Shorties: PULSE screening event, while complimentary refreshments will be available for all pre-registered attendees to claim upon arrival.
