KUALA LUMPUR: Having collaborated with Malaysian artistes such as Ernie Zakri and Aina Abdul, Indonesian band Govinda hopes to work together with a few more in future, including Anuar Zain.
"Maybe we could work with him in future," said Ifan Hadari, the band's vocalist, when asked on future collaborations with other Malaysian singers.
Ifan, together with his three other bandmembers – Ade Nurullianto, Luki Marendra, and Ritchie 'Jeje' Ismail – met with reporters at a press conference held at a hotel here yesterday.
During the event, the band announced its debut concert to be staged here next month.
Titled 'Govinda Hal Hebat @ Kuala Lumpur', the show is set for Oct 31, at Zepp Kuala Lumpur.
"At the concert, it will not just be us performing our songs, but it will also feature guests artistes we've collaborated with before like Fadly of Padi, Ernie Zakri, and Aina Abdul," said lead guitarist Ade.
"While we've never worked with Elica Paujin before, we thought it'd be great to include a Malaysian artiste from Borneo.
"The concert might not feel complete without a representative from there," he said.
