KUALA LUMPUR: After announcing on social media in September that she would be heading to Malaysia for a visit, influencer and adult film star Rae Lil Black has shared updates on her trip here.
The Japanese internet personality, whose real name is Kae Asakura, shared a series of pictures on Instagram yesterday clad in stylish modest wear while donning the hijab.
"Every day is a new opportunity to educate myself.
"Learn and appreciate the different cultures, which enables me to see the world with a wider perspective. "Thank you for the new learning every day. #kualalumpur #malaysia #my," she wrote.
Previously, Rae had also posted several videos on TikTok that saw her visiting Dataran Merdeka with the caption, "Hello Kuala Lumpur".
Dressed in comfortable and loose-fitting clothes with a headscarf on in the video, she was also seen visiting a Nasi Kandar outlet where she ate the popular rice dish using her fingers.
In one of her recent Instagram Stories, she said: "Thank you, Malaysia for bringing me all the new experiences, thoughts, knowledge, opportunities and new friends."
However, Rae also shared in a tweet that she had been followed by stalkers in the city, with one person even grabbing her.
Netizens were quick to apologise for the unfortunate incident while many complimented her modest attire and for being respectful.
Rae, who recently moved to Thailand to learn Muay Thai, is also an athlete, owns a company and runs a popular YouTube channel where she shares her travels and love for food.
