KUALA LUMPUR: After years of participating in various singing competitions, Puteri Khareeza is excited to headline her first-ever solo showcase next month.
Titled the Puteri Khareeza 'Sebenar' Showcase, the event is scheduled for Nov 16 at RCD Big Studio, Plaza Alam Sentral, Shah Alam, Selangor.
"I've been competing in singing contests since I was young. It's always been my dream to expand my career by taking on bigger challenges," the 26-year-old singer shared during a press conference at Zebra Square yesterday.
Puteri Khareeza, who is signed with Alternate Records & Talents, acknowledged that organising a showcase is no easy feat, but believes it's a crucial step for her career growth.
"Many of my followers, some of whom have been with me since my Idola Kecil days (Season 3 in 2010), have been asking for this. They want a chance to see me perform live," she explained.
The singer, who was also a finalist in last year's Big Stage, will be joined by friends Haris Fayahet, Zazo Maulana, Maria Khairul, and Adi from the band Venus during the showcase.
