KUALA LUMPUR: A series of Facebook postings by actor Fattah Amin's brother-in-law has sparked considerable online buzz, garnering sympathy from many.
"'Bodyguard' Along (Fattah), just take care of our beloved mother and father," wrote Wan Aslam Zakaria.
He also prayed for his brother-in-law, wishing him ease in his affairs and urging him to remain calm.
"Stay calm and smile. Insya Allah, Allah will make it easy," he added.
Netizens flooded the comments section with prayers for Fattah, the former husband of actress and singer Nur Fazura Shardifuddin.
In another post, Wan Aslam, who married Fattah's sister a week after Fattah and Fazura's wedding in 2017, offered brief advice on marriage. He encouraged Fattah to adhere to Islamic teachings.
"Follow the path of Islam, and we will be safe. No matter how great our trials, Allah will guide us if we remain faithful and kind," he said.
"This is advice for myself and my family as well. May Allah bless our family with Sakinah (peace), Mawaddah (love), and Rahmah (the Lord's blessings). May we find wisdom in what has been fated by Allah," he said.
Yesterday, Fattah and Fazura were officially divorced at the Petaling Syariah Lower Court after seven years of marriage.
