#SHOWBIZ: Angelina 'exhausted' by divorce battle, 'very happy' Brad might get married in 2025

KUALA LUMPUR: After eight years of legal wrangling, Hollywood stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have officially finalised their divorce, though a significant dispute over their US$62 million (RM278 million) French château and vineyard remains unresolved.

Oscar-winning Pitt, 61, is reportedly feeling positive after settling the contentious case, The Daily Mail reported.

According to sources, his girlfriend, 32-year-old jewelry executive Ines de Ramon, played a pivotal role in encouraging him to close this chapter of his life.

"Ines wants to focus on building a life with Brad, possibly with children in the future, without the albatross of his unresolved divorce," an insider told Page Six.

For now, wedding bells aren't in the immediate future for the couple, despite rumors of a 2025 wedding.

A source told TMZ that Pitt is "taking things slow" but remains "very happy" in the relationship.

Meanwhile, Jolie, 49, is also looking forward, with plans to co-produce an action-packed, female-led film alongside Halle Berry.

Her attorney, James Simon, shared that the actress is "relieved" to have this chapter behind her.

"Angelina is exhausted. She has focused on finding peace and healing for her family since filing for divorce more than eight years ago," Simon told The Daily Mail.

The former couple, famously known as "Brangelina," share six children: biological daughters Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16, and adopted children Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, and Zahara, 19.

Maddox and Pax are reportedly estranged from Pitt, while Zahara, Shiloh, and Vivienne have dropped his last name.

Despite the finalised divorce, their legal battle over Château Miraval continues.

Pitt has accused Jolie of selling her stake in the estate to Stoli Group without his consent.

Both parties are prepared to escalate the matter to a jury trial if necessary.
