KUALA LUMPUR: The recent spate of divorces involving celebrities has not scared singer Azira Shafinaz from tying the knot in the future.
In a recent news report, the 33-year-old lead vocalist of popular girl group De Fam said she is not worried about divorce.
She noted that such a situation is part and parcel of some relationships and not all marriages last.
"Everyone has his or her own challenges in life and we have to accept our fate.
"Just because it seems to be happening a lot among celebrities recently, that doesn't scare me off.
"As for now, why don't we all pray that I will soon get married," she said.
Azira is currently in a steady relationship with a man for 12 years now, but according to her, there are no plans to take it to the next level just yet.
"We may have discussed it in the past, but right now, there's no plan just yet.
"So, I'll just focus on my career and myself first for now," she said in the report.
