KUALA LUMPUR: Actress and entrepreneur, Rozita Che Wan shared that she has completed paying RM50,000 in taxes, believed to be to the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRB).

Rozita, or more affectionately known as Che Ta, shared the matter via Instagram Story (IGs), today.

"I finished last year. I'll pay this tax until I die. #LHDN," she wrote.

Previously, Rozita is believed to have settled a debt to Majlis Amanah Rakyat (Mara) of RM550,000 out of almost RM1 million outstanding.

It is based on a screenshot of a conversation the 51-year-old artiste had with her youngest daughter, Aaisyah Dhia Rana, 10, via the WhatsApp application.

On Dec 10, Rozita's residence in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya was reportedly raided by Mara along with lawyers and court representatives following allegations of failing to repay a loan worth almost RM1 million.

Rozita is reported to have yet to appear before Mara to discuss the restructuring and rescheduling of a loan totaling RM960,000 made by her company, RCW Worldwide Sdn Bhd.

Following this, MARA's legal department was reported to be involved in the bankruptcy filing process against Rozita and her eldest son, Ammar Effendy, who failed to repay the loan.

On Dec 24, a public auction involving 34 items belonging to Rozita with a total value of RM902,012.46 was supposed to be held, but was postponed at the request of the actress.
