Sleepseeker, a UK-based bedding company, has delved into the cost of rooms around the world to find out where the world's cheapest (and most expensive) luxury hotel rooms are located.
The research finds that Kuala Lumpur has one of the cheapest luxury hotel stays in the world. Sitting at number seven of the list, The VEO by Feel Home - an aparthotel located in Setapak puts up its three-bedroom apartment for only RM1505 per night.
Taking the top spot of the cheapest luxury hotel is the Double Room with Terrace at Krabi P.N. Boutique House in Krabi, Thailand. It costs MRM398 per night.
Following it on the second and third places are the Queen Room with Two Queen Beds at the Hawthorn Suites Las Vegas in Las Vegas in the US (RM996) and the Triple Room with Balcony at the Infinity City Boutique Hotel in Heraklion in Greece (RM1090).
So, where are the most expensive luxurious hotel rooms in the world located and how much does a night's stay cost?
Taking the top spot on the list is the Royal Two-Bedroom Suite in the Raffles Makkah Palace, Saudi Arabia. Besides its luxurious fittings, the suite holds views of the iconic Kaaba, Islam's most sacred site and will set travellers back a whopping RM84,292 per night!
This is followed by the Royal Suite with King Bed in the Four Seasons Hotel Firenze in Florence, Italy that will cost travellers RM74,420 per night to stay in this palatial suite.
The second Italian hotel room on the list is Relais Orso in Rome that puts a price tag of RM57,992 per night for its Deluxe Double Room with spa bath.
