Luxton's towering installation, adorned with 33 layers of intricately printed fabric, serves as a sanctuary amidst the chaos of urban life.
"Inspired by scientific research on the restorative power of nature, Field of Dreams invites viewers to embark on a sensory journey," explains the Goldsmiths University of London graduate.
Each layer of fabric represents a nuanced exploration of texture, depth and colour, weaving together the vibrant hues of contemporary technology with the timeless allure of ancient textile traditions.
But beyond its aesthetic beauty, Field of Dreams is a call to action. Luxton urges viewers to prioritise moments of connection with nature, fostering a deeper understanding of oneself and one's place within the world.
It's a message echoed throughout Battersea Power Station, where luxury florist Moyses Stevens and fashion brands ME+EM and Theory have joined forces to complement the exhibition with botanical accents and stylish ensembles.

In collaboration with MTArt Agency, Field of Dreams offers not only a visual feast, but a transformative experience, reminding the audience of the power of art to uplift, inspire and connect us all to the world around us.
