Proton holds cash prize-driven social media campaign

KUALA LUMPUR: Proton is holding a year-long social media campaign where its customers stand a chance to win monthly cash prizes.

The "My Proton, My New Ride" campaign centres on the use of creative videos by customers, whereby entries uploaded on the participant's social media channels will showcase current Proton models.

Customers are required to shoot a video in the most creative manner possible featuring any current selling Proton model on sale.

The video should feature an activity related to purchasing a new vehicle, bringing the vehicle in for servicing, test driving a vehicle or attending an on-ground event held at a Proton 3S/4S outlets.

Participants will then need to upload or post their video on a social media platform of their choice, such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or TikTok.

The post must include the hashtag #2022MYPROTONMYNEWRIDE and the respective social media account's privacy setting must be set to 'public'.

Each participant is required to fill in the e-form from a QR code available at their respective Proton outlet or visit the official Facebook page of Proton @ProtonCarsOfficial and click on the link in the contest post.

The URL of their social media video post must be included in the e-form submission. To be eligible, the completed e-form must be submitted not later than the last day of every month.

All entries submitted will be evaluated based on a score calculation formula. Every month, 1 winner from each 3S/4S outlets, with the highest scores will stand a chance to win RM200 each. Winners will be announced the subsequent month.

The cash prizes will be deposited into the winners' bank accounts within three (3) months from the winner announcement.

The video post should not be removed, hidden or archived throughout the campaign period.

Participants may submit as many entries as desired throughout the campaign period with different content material.

Covid-19 SOPs must be adhered to prior to entering the 3S/4S premise and postings cannot include any offensive content contrary to Malaysian culture relating to topics such as, but not limited to the following: law, racism, religion, cultural differences, disabilities and ailments, morality and ethics, and traditions and practices.

The campaign will run on a monthly basis from now till Dec 31 with cash prizes given out every month from respective 3S/4S outlet.
