UMW Toyota opens new 3S centre in Sarawak

KUALA LUMPUR: UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd has opened a new 3S centre in Kota Samarahan, Sarawak.

Operated by Borneo Mobility (Samarahan) Sdn Bhd, the new facility is located 30 kilometres from southeast of Kuching and will serve the growing demand for Toyota vehicles and services in the area, catering to a population of over 130,000 people.

Kota Samarahan, often referred to as the "Town of Knowledge"; has witnessed significant development in recent years.

"With its thriving educational institutions, including Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), as well as new residential areas, commercial centres, and infrastructure projects, the town has become an attractive location for businesses and residents alike. Borneo Mobility  has established a strong presence in the region.

"The new 3S centre features five service bays to provide efficient aftersales care to Toyota customers and will contribute additional 12 per cent to the Borneo Mobility's sales volume," UMW Toyota said.

UMW Toyota president Ravindran K. said the new 3S service centre is just the company's way of bringing the brand closer to its customers.

"Wherever they are, they will have seamless access to our services whenever they need them," he added.
