KUALA LUMPUR: YTL Power International Bhd has acquired a total of 1.5 million shares of RM1 each in Konsortium Jaringan Selangor Sdn Bhd (KJS) for RM49.8 million in cash. The company said the acquisition represented 60 per cent of the issued and paid-up share capital of KJS. “KJS has become a subsidiary of YTL Communications and an indirect subsidiary of the company,” YTL Power said in a statement yesterday.
