KUALA LUMPUR: The Singapore High Commission recently hosted the Singapore 49th National Day reception at Shangri-La hotel here.

The joyous celebration saw more than 1,000 guests, who included members of the diplomatic corps and corporate leaders.

Representing Malaysia was Works Minister Datuk Fadillah Yusof, who was
welcomed by the High Commissioner of Singapore to Malaysia, Ong Keng Yong.

The T’ang Quartet entertained the crowd with a number of songs.
