KUALA TERENGGANU: The flood situation in four districts in the state improved with 31,477 people still seeking shelter at 67 relief centres as at 7.30am today.
State Welfare Department said the victim's number were 31,820 at 75 relief centre yesterday.
Kemaman recorded the highest number of victims with 21,629 people at 30 relief centres, followed by Dungun with 9,507 people at 29 relief centres.
In Kuala Terengganu, 276 victims remained at four centres while 74 people in Hulu Terengganu moved to four relief centres.
Meanwhile in Pahang, the situation worsened with the number of evacuees rising to 49,369 from 12,047 families in eight districts at 8am compared to 37,349 last night.
