KUCHING: PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar was barred from entering Sarawak upon her arrival at the Kuching International Airport (KIA) here at 4pm.
Sarawak Immigration Director Datuk Mohd Zulfikar Ahmad said Nurul arrived from Kuala Lumpur by AK5120 and was deported on the next available flight at 4.40pm.
Nurul was supposed to chair a press conference on her party potential candidates for the upcoming state polls at a hotel here at 6pm.
"She has given us full cooperation," he said when contacted.
