KUALA LUMPUR: Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) Bhd is offering a 50 per cent discount on the annual fee of the KTM student’s i-card for college and university students from Jan 4 to Feb 4.
According to KTM in a statement today, the one-month promotion offered an annual fee of RM15.90 compared to the normal price of RM31.80.
“Students with the KTM’s i-card will get a 50 per cent discount from the cash fare rate for the KTM Commuter services in the Klang Valley.
“A 40 per cent discount will also be offered for fares on the KTM Intercity and ETS (Electric Train Service) services,” said the statement.
Application for KTM i-card can be made at the Intercity/ETS KTM ticket counter, Level 2, Kuala Lumpur Stesen Sentral from Mondays to Fridays from 8.30 am to 7 pm.
