KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said although his father Tun Abdul Razak Hussein, was a quiet man, he had his own way of showing his love for his children.
Najib said this in his latest Facebook post today.
He was reiterating the memory with his father following an interview with RTM to commemorate the 40th year of the Malaysia’s second Prime Minister’s death.
“I can vividly remember, my late father was a quiet man, but he had his own way of showing his love for his children. Al-Fatihah,” Najib posted.
The late Tun Abdul Razak, known as the Father of Malaysia’s Development, was born on March 11, 1922, and was appointed as the second Prime Minister on Sept 22, 1970.
He died of leukaemia while seeking treatment in London on Jan 14, 1976. -- Bernama
