KUALA LUMPUR: Maybank customers have been urged to perform all banking transactions in advance as several of its services will be temporarily unavailable on May 14 and 15.
The bank, in a statement today, said this includes its Maybank2u services, access to ATM machines, and debit cards services, among others.
“To avoid any inconvenience during the period, we advise customers to perform banking transactions in advance”, read the statement posted on the bank’s website.
The disruption of the services is due to an annual bank-wide system maintenance exercise.
They Maybank ATM service and Kawanku Phone Booking will be offline from 12 midnight till 7am, Maybank2E, TradeConnex, Regional Case management (12am-12pm) and Maybank2u.com, Regional Mobile Banking Services, Maybank Kawanku 24hrs ATMs and Debit Card Services (3am-7am).
In addition, the M2U Online Stocks (Local & Mobile Trading) services will be offline from 3am to 9.30am (May 14,) and 2am to 7am (May 15).
Its M2U Online Stocks (Global Trading) services will be offline from 4.30am (May 14) till 7am (May 15).
“We shall endeavour to minimise the duration of unavailability for these services and apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused,” said the bank.
